The Schenectady Art Society (SAS) was founded in 1967.  Our purpose is to encourage local artists through education and opportunities to share our work with the community.

SAS sponsors two member Shows (Spring and Fall) in addition to meetings with demonstrations by well known area artists.  Our meeting site is the First Reformed Church of Schenectady located at 8 North Church Street in the Stockade.  Meetings occur on the 2^nd Thursday of the month at 7 PM, approximately six times each year.

Members also have the opportunity to participate in Downtown Schenectady “Art Night” on the 3^rd Friday of the month.

Membership is $25 per year and we look forward to having new members join us!
